On December 27, 2025, the "First Master Training Course on Bronchoscopy Robots by Puli Baichuan" was successfully held at the Panlongshan Campus of Shandong Public Health Clinical Center. This training course focused on the innovative application of bronchoscopic robot technology in the field of interventional pulmonary medicine, attracting interventional pulmonary medicine experts, clinicians, and researchers from all over the country to gather in Jinan to discuss the cutting-edge development and clinical practice of this technology.

Conference Opening Ceremony: Focusing on Technological Innovation, Jointly Ushering in Smart Healthcare

The conference officially opened at the Panlongshan Campus of Shandong Public Health Clinical Center. In his opening remarks, Professor Xu Li, the conference chair, emphasized that the Pribain bronchoscopy robot, with its 3D Imaging DT (digital tomography-based 3D reconstruction) technology and a single-use endoscopic catheter that is fully visualized and omnidirectionally flexible through natural orifices, is gradually changing the traditional respiratory interventional diagnosis and treatment model, providing a new pathway for achieving high-accuracy diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary nodules.

Special Feature: Emphasizing Both Theory and Practice, Discussing the Frontiers of Clinical Practice

During the morning's academic session, Professor Yang Zhen from the General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army systematically introduced the clinical applications of the bronchial navigation robot and, using typical cases, demonstrated the outstanding advantages of the Pribain bronchoscope robot in the high-accuracy localization of peripheral pulmonary nodules. He pointed out that the system effectively solves the clinical challenge of "CT-to-Body Divergence" (the mismatch between CT images and the actual body) through 3D reconstruction technology using digital tomography and enhanced fluoroscopy, thereby significantly improving the accuracy of terminal localization and further increasing the diagnostic rate of pulmonary nodules.

Subsequently, Professor Wang Xiaoping from the Shandong Provincial Public Health Clinical Center shared new technological advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary nodules and COPD via the bronchus, providing attendees with a wealth of clinical insights and practical references.

Following the keynote report, the participating experts engaged in a lively discussion on the technical challenges, clinical indications, and future development trends, creating a vibrant atmosphere of exchange.

Hands-on practice: one-on-one instruction to deepen technical mastery

The afternoon session focused on group hands-on practice. Divided into two groups, students, under the guidance of Professor Xu Li, personally operated the bronchoscopy robot system, completing a full-process simulation from navigation and positioning to a biopsy. Clinical engineers from Puli Ark provided detailed explanations of the Puli Baichuan system's functions and key operational points, helping students quickly grasp the technical essence.

Each trainee received 20 minutes of one-on-one practical guidance, which further solidified their theoretical knowledge and operational skills through real-world scenario simulations.

Meeting Summary: Working Together to Promote Technological Popularization and Progress

In her concluding remarks, Professor Xu Li stated that this training course was not only a technical training session but also an important platform for promoting the standardization and popularization of bronchoscopic robotic technology. She expressed her hope to continue working with colleagues to advance innovation in the field of interventional respiratory medicine and benefit more patients.
